This is where we have to process personal information to meet our contractual obligations. For example, if you are a platform subscriber, we would need to process your business contact information address to manage your subscription.

This is where we have to process personal information in order to comply with the law. For example, we process and retain customer invoice and content supplier payment information to comply with financial regulations.

How long we keep information

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active with us, either in the context of as a customer or a content services supplier; this allows you to continue accessing our platform and services.

Where we don't need to keep all of your information in full, we may obfuscate or aggregate it, for example, web activity logs. This is to ensure that we do not retain your information for any longer than is necessary.

It is sometimes necessary for us to keep your personal information for longer periods of time, for example:

  • If there is a statutory requirement to retain it;
  • If we require the information for legal reasons or there is a legitimate business need for us to retain it;
  • To ensure we do not contact you if you have asked us not to.

  • Hubspot – Marketing and CRM provider
  • Google Cloud – cloud service provider
  • Microsoft Azure – cloud service provider
  • OVH – cloud service provider
  • DocuSign – contract management
  • Plausible – website analytics

We may also share your information with professional or legal advisors where we require support.

Sharing information outside the UK

Where necessary, we may transfer personal information outside of the UK. When doing so, we comply with the UK GDPR, making sure appropriate safeguards are in place. Please contact us for more information.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal data.
  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal data you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You don't usually need to pay a fee to exercise your rights. If you make a request, we have one calendar month to respond to you.
